David L. Erickson, LLC, Attorneys at Law, provides high-quality, personalized, and confidential legal advice and services on commercial and financial matters. David Erickson received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western New England College and a J.D. degree in Law from the University of Denver. He has practiced law for many years.  He often consults with other respected law firms, and with the boards of business and nonprofit corporations.  Mr. Erickson also arbitrates commercial, financial, securities and employment disputes and is a qualified arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, FINRA (NASD Dispute Resolution and the NYSE), and the National Arbitration Forum.  The Biographical Information page contains more information on his background.

Erickson Selected for Colorado Super Lawyers® in Business and Corporate Law

Erickson was selected a Colorado Super Lawyer® in Business/Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Alternative Dispute Resolution in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Colorado Super Lawyers® are chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics magazine.  More than 13,000 lawyers across the state were asked to nominate the best attorneys they’ve personally observed in action.  Law & Politics then vetted those nominated through an independent research process.  The goal was to select the top Colorado attorneys in various practice areas.  The first list of Colorado Super Lawyers® was published in the April 2006 issue of 5280 Magazine and Colorado Super Lawyers®.

For over thirty years, Erickson, has consistently received the highest Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings of “AV” (Very High to Preeminent) for legal ability and ethical standards. The law firm of David Erickson LLC is also Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Rated as “AV”.

In 1998, Erickson was selected a Fellow of the Colorado Bar Foundation, a charitable organization, whose members are in good standing with the Colorado Bar Association, have been recommended by their colleagues, and have made outstanding contributions to their communities.

In 2001, Erickson was appointed by the Trustees of the Denver Bar Association, and served a six-year term as an Administrator of the Waterman Trust Fund, a charitable trust with several million dollars in assets.
